Microsoft FrontPage review
Product Name: Microsoft FrontPage

Product Description: FrontPage is a HTML editor / website builder designed by Microsoft. If you are familiar with any of
Microsoft’s products, such as Word, you will feel very comfortable using FrontPage.
FrontPage is a “What You See Is What You Get Editor” (also known as WYSIWYG). You can design your pages in what looks like a regular Word Doc; you can also choose to design specifically in code, or view a split screen of both.
Here are some of the things included: FrontPage includes many tools to help you design your websites. You can add pictures and graphics, format text, and more with just a touch of a few buttons. FrontPage also allows you to publish your site quickly and easily, without the use of a separate FTP program.
Thoughts & Criticisms: I was totally new to building websites when I started using FrontPage. I was already familiar with several Microsoft programs, so I was familiar with the “look” and the “shortcuts” that FrontPage offered. In just a few short months, I have created more than five sites, each with different themes, colors, etc.
I have since had a small amount of experience with DreamWeaver, and definitely prefer FrontPage to that program. I have heard a lot of good things about XSitePro, but I have never tried it.
All in all, I thoroughly enjoy FrontPage and would recommend it to others.
