Product Description: This free software will allow you to check for duplication between articles. You can upload two
articles and compare them side by side. If you are connected to the internet, you can compare your article to those found on the web.
DupeFree Pro also allows you to check for keyword density.
Here are some of the things included: DupeFree Pro has a split screen, enabling you to import two different articles (will read the following formats: .txt, .doc and .rtf). As you import the articles, the program calculates the following statistics: number of words, sentences and paragraphs. Click the ‘Compare’ button and DupeFree Pro will calculate the percentage of duplication. The program will highlight the duplicated words.
You can also check an article for duplication on the internet. To do this, upload an article and make sure you are connected to the internet. Click the ‘Online’ button and the big 3 search engines will be checked for duplicate content.
This program also allows you to enter a keyword and check for keyword density.
Thoughts & Criticisms: This is a very clever tool; and it’s free! I have no complaints.
