After 25 years being a stay-at-home mom, it was time for me to re-join the working world. What I quickly found out is that my education and experience were irrelevant. I had just separated from my husband and had a 13 year old daughter to support. 

What could I do to support us, make time to be part of my daughter's life and not tax my worn-out body (LOL)? By a strange coincidence an irritating young man came into the boutique I had opened in 2008 and kept telling me about Scentsy, I kicked him out more than once!

Finally to get rid of him, I took a warmer and some wax. I thought that would be the end of it..... nope! Next, the young man came in (again over and over) to bug me about joining Scentsy. Honestly I was looking for something to supplement my new income at the boutique. I'd looked at various MLM companies and just couldn't find one that suited my personality style and financial needs.

Of course, eventually I gave in to the young man and signed up (he was extremely persistent)! My first party was a catalog/basket party I gave to my hairdresser, and generated $400 in sales. The next day the manicurist in the salon asked to have a catalog/basket party.... she turned in an order for $300.....

I was on to something!

Since then (March 2009) I've closed the boutique and sell Scentsy full-time. I love it, the business gives me the freedom to be a part of my young teenagers' life, have time for myself and make a good wage on which to support us!

Honestly it's the best thing I've ever done!
