Recently, at our annual conference I was awarded the Annual Sales Excellence award, was recognized as Glimmer Team winner (highest percentage of my team to attend conference for our team size) and as a Director. In addition, I earned an all expenses paid vacation to Hawaii and Boston!!! Wouldn’t you like to go on an all expenses paid family to Disney in 2011 with me? It is SO easy to be successful when you LOVE what you are doing!!! What attracted me to Scentsy... I had tried direct sales before, but with little success. I don’t think of myself as a good salesperson because I will not push someone to buy something they don’t believe in. My previous attempt in direct sales was because I was really desperate for money. Fast forward 5 years… I was invited to one of my friends Scentsy launch parties. I figured I would do a party to help her business out, but I warned her that it probably wouldn’t be that big, nobody every came to my parties. Well, people came and they loved the product as much as I did. I had a FABULOUS party!! My friend tried to tell me, but I thought there was no way I had time for a business – I already worked full time and was taking a full load of college courses. Well, a week later people at work started asking if I had closed my party, yet because they wanted to order. So, I started another party which also did very well. About half way through that second party I realized that other people thought the same thing I did – SCENTSY IS AWESOME!!! So, rather than give my friend more commissions from another party I decided to become a Scentsy consultant myself! My friend was overjoyed that I decided to join her team! I have since graduated from college with a BA in Computer Investigations and even took a little time off of my day job to concentrate on my ‘FUN’ job!! I am so thankful for all the people that I’ve met since I joined Scentsy!! I have continued to be impressed with this company!!! Orville Thompson, the owner of Scentsy, has shown that he is willing to take the extra step to ensure great service to our customers and consultants. After having the opportunity to meet both Heidi & Orville, I love Scentsy even more because of the values of the owners - they are real people, who value family first!
