My Background: Born and raised in Southern California, I grew up thinking "the big one" was going to hit at any time. I'm talking about earthquakes of course. Maybe that's why I'm such a homebody. I am happiest at home, with my husband and two children. I'm usually watching a movie or one of the many TV-series' I'm addicted to. Often I'm working at my PC, editing one of my websites, networking with others and creating a new graphic design for a client with the TV on in the background. Yes, Multitasking comes naturally to Moms. I like to think I got most of my creative background from my family. My grandmother was talented in many ways, but I remember as a child, asking her to draw something for me and within minutes, she would produce the most adorable sketch of a cherub faced baby, curly wisps of hair and bright, happy eyes. She would always discard the drawings as unimportant, but I enjoyed them and to this day, keep one to remember. I have an aunt who worked in Hollywood in the 40's-60's as a fashion designer as well. Irene Lentz was gifted and worked with the top actors of the time.. ahhh.. classic Hollywood, there's nothing like it. Aside from my creative pursuits, I also teach computer lab to 1st through 6th graders part time. What a great job this is! How rewarding it is to watch children get excited about learning something new and being that it's computers, one of my great hobbies, makes it all that more fun. I hope my kids find a career in life that revolves around what they love to do, like their mom has been lucky enough to find.
