Robin Golliher- Away Out 4 All Organization
I was born in Tn, but spent a large
portion of my life in Dallas, Tx. I am a believer that we all should care
for one another. I was raised in a very abusive home. I grew up with
beatings, hatred, and child hood poverty. I ran away from home at the age of
14 to find myself on the run and on the road. I learn how to survive on the
streets. What I did not know was the streets would teach me an even harder
life. By the age of 19 I became pregnant with an abusers child. When I
choose to marry him for the sake of the child, it was the biggest mistake I
would come to make. After 2 years of abuse I decided to divorce him and put
my life back together. He stole my child at the age of 18 months old. I
fought to find my son for many years. He had taken him and ran. When I would
even get close to finding him, A gun would be put to my head and I was told
"I will kill you". That was 24 years ago. As I grew older and more
abuse came my way, I knew someday I would write to tell about my life in
hoping to help others. But to help others, I had to learn to help myself.
